Hello, my name is ...

I had the pleasure of helping plan a baby shower for a great friend this past weekend. One of my contributions for the event was name tags for the guests. I love cute name tags for parties especially showers where many of the guests will not know each other. Not only do they help break the ice, but also make a great memento of the occasion. I have 6-7 hanging on my Christmas tree and love to remember the special event they were a part of.

Name tags also work great as place cards or escort cards depending on the occasion.

This weekend's shower had an ice cream theme so we had to have mini ice cream cones! Felt, pom poms and puffy paint chocolate sauce topped off with sprinkles and cherries. A simple card stock banner held each person's name.

These name tags are definitely not a boring sticker! These paper and ribbon flowers had leaves with the guest's name and relationship to the guest of honor.

Name tags with a Mexican theme perfect for a Fiesta themed Bridal Shower.

Felt cows with paper straws were ready to celebrate at a milk and cookies Baby Shower.

Regardless of the theme, a cute name tag is something everyone will want to wear!

Fiesta Wedding Shower

Busy week for parties ... as the Maid of Honor for my good friend, I helped co-host her bridal shower this weekend. It was a Mexican inspired Fiesta with lots of good times and good company!

The tent with round tables, Mexican Papercut flags and large tissue paper flowers on each table.

Nametags - I like fun, themed name tags at events where everyone does not know each other. They help break the ice and make everyone feel a part of the event.

The clear boxes contained Mexican Wedding cookies as favors.

Mexican inspired appetizers and desserts for guests to snack on. We also have maragritas, coronas and a Churro frying station.

Royal Wedding Viewing Tea Party

We celebrated the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate with a simple viewing Tea Party! We gathered Friday afternoon to watch the recorded wedding, sip tea, enjoy traditional tea treats and visit with good friends. Thank you to my aunt for Union Jack items from England!

Wedding Shower Nametag

I made these paper flower corsages as nametags for a bridal shower. Each had a multi-layered paper flower with jewel center, ribbon streamers and a green paper leaf with their name and relationship to the bride-to-be. They were a big hit - even amongst a crowd not too keen on wearing name tags.
